The Singapore Botanic Gardens Bootcampers is a free fitness group that meets twice weekly at the Singapore Botanic Gardens (a UNESCO World Heritage site). Sessions are held on Sundays at 8:00 AM and Wednesdays at 6:30 PM near the Bougainvillea & Bamboo Collection, approximately one minute from the Botanic Gardens MRT Station. In case of rain, training relocates to a nearby sheltered area. Founded over three years ago by a group of fitness enthusiasts, the community welcomes participants of all fitness levels, from beginners to experienced athletes. Workouts are inspired by Freeletics and HIIT principles, combined with running activities throughout the gardens. The group adapts training to accommodate different fitness levels, occasionally splitting into subgroups based on ability. Participants should bring water, a towel, a yoga mat, and a skipping rope optionally. The Bootcampers occasionally organize special events focused on trail running, yoga, and running techniques and sometimes provide members with information about sports events in Singapore.
