Mile End Climbing Wall, managed by the charity 'DEVELOPMENT through CHALLENGE,' supports personal development through physical activity, focusing on youth and special needs groups. Located in an old pipe engineering works within Mile End Park, the facility is just a five-minute walk from Mile End Tube Station. Covering approximately 16,000 sq. ft, it offers a variety of climbing experiences, from bouldering to top-roped and lead climbing, alongside advanced training areas like The Board Room and the Monkey House. The center serves both educational and recreational purposes, attracting a range of climbers, from novices to professionals. Additionally, it features a sauna and a social atmosphere facilitated by staff and regulars.
