Pilates focuses on movements that increases your body awareness and work from your core, resulting in a stronger body; Yoga provides a meditative environment for you to improve your overall quality of life, focusing on stress relief while improving your body. Having said that, there are a number of varieties for both schools - including reformer pilates, mat pilates vs. bikram, kundalini, iyengar, yin yoga to name a few.
